Zusammenfassung

Amentum is recruiting an Environmental Advisor to join our SWMTF team, providing expertise to support environmental management and waste-related matters within major projects. You will report to the project Environmental Manager and help deliver strategies on time.

You will guide on environmental management, develop plans, and collaborate with construction teams to ensure compliance and best practices, including audits and sustainability assessments.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in environmental management, science or engineering.
• Membership in a relevant professional body such as the IES.
• Proven experience in environmental (including waste) management under an EMS.
• Commitment to ongoing training and development in policies and procedures.
• Experience working within a project team.
• Ability to produce clear, concise technical documents.
• Familiarity with Environmental Permitting Regulations.
• Experience applying Best Available Techniques in Environment Cases.
• Experience embedding sustainability in projects (e.g., BREEAM).

Aufgaben

• Assist in developing environmental and waste management plans and strategies.
• Identify and manage environmental aspects via the aspects register.
• Support the Environment Case with best available techniques demonstrations.
• Deliver bespoke environmental assessments and work packages.
• Identify and manage environmental risks and opportunities.
• Assist with environmental assurance and audits related to design and construction.
• Collate environmental metrics with construction teams and contractors.
• Support lifecycle carbon emissions analysis with data from project engineers.
