Job summary

Amentum is recruiting an Environmental Advisor to join our SWMTF team to support environmental and waste management activities on the Sellafield PPP project. You will provide guidance to the project team, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering robust environmental outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental management, science, or engineering.
• Membership in a relevant institution is preferred.
• Proven experience in environmental (including waste) management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental and waste management plans.
• Identify environmental aspects and manage their impact via registers.
• Support Environment Case development with Best Available Techniques demonstrations.
• Deliver environmental assessments and work packages across the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage environmental risks and opportunities.
• Assist in environmental assurance including audits related to design and construction.
• Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to report environmental metrics.
• Support lifecycle carbon emissions analysis with data from project engineers.
