Job summary

Our client, a fast-growing technology-enabled property services group in the UK, seeks an exceptional Managing Director to lead the Environmental Services Division. You will shape strategy, drive commercial performance, and deliver operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will create a scalable, market-leading business, align with the executive team, and identify new opportunities while maintaining high standards of customer service and governance.

Qualifications

• Significant executive leadership experience within service-led organisations.
• Full P&L responsibility for a large division or business unit.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed operational teams.
• Strong commercial and financial management capabilities.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable growth and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the Environmental Division.
• Lead national operations delivering environmental services across multiple client sectors.
• Drive profitability, growth and EBITDA performance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team with succession planning.
• Oversee acquisition activity, due diligence and integration where appropriate.
• Represent the division at executive meetings and industry events.
