Job summary

Directorbank is seeking an executive to lead the Environmental Engineering division across the UK, accountable for P&L and growth. You will set strategy, drive cross-functional execution, and steer acquisition integration while delivering best-in-class outcomes for customers.

You will report to the Group CEO and sit on the Executive Leadership Team, collaborating with other division leaders to cross-sell and unlock value across the business.

Job description

Our client is a leading provider of critical and support services, backed by a private equity investor and now entering an ambitious new phase of organic and acquisition-led growth.

Reporting to the Group CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the Environmental Engineering division. It delivers mechanical and electrical engineering solutions for customers’ critical infrastructure. You will have full P&L accountability across operations, commercial, finance, people and H&S. You will set strategy, deliver double-digit growth, shape and execute the division’s acquisition strategy, and integrate acquired businesses, while working closely with the Group’s other divisional MDs to cross-sell.

You will bring:

• P&L leadership at c.£100m+ in an engineering-led, growth-focused business
• A record of sustained, multi-year revenue growth
• Experience integrating acquisitions while delivering best in class customer outcomes
• Strong commercial and financial skills, including delivering against EBITDA targets
• Experience leading complex operational delivery
• Technical credibility and a commitment to better environmental outcomes

The role is UK-wide, with regular travel to head office and to the business units.
