Job summary

Envirogen is seeking a hands-on Managing Director to take full ownership of the UK & Europe business, including P&L, growth strategy, and operational leadership. Alfreton, Derbyshire-based with UK, Ireland and European travel.

The successful candidate will lead Sales, Service, Operations, Engineering and PMO, build high-performing teams, ensure safe, on-time project delivery and drive profitable growth through both project sales and recurring service revenues.

As we enter the next phase of growth across the UK and Europe, we are seeking an outstanding Managing Director to take full ownership of the regional business.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will lead all commercial, operational, engineering, project management and service functions, with full P&L accountability and responsibility for delivering ambitious growth plans.

This is not a boardroom-only role. We're looking for a hands-on business leader who enjoys being close to customers, projects and people; someone who can drive strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to remove barriers, improve performance and accelerate growth.

About You

You are an experienced Managing Director, General Manager or Business Unit Leader with a track record of growing engineering, environmental, industrial or water-sector businesses.
