Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Environmental Project Management PMO team. You will support the delivery of multi-disciplinary environmental projects, working with Project Managers and Technical Leads to keep work on track and within budget.

This role offers hands-on experience across the full lifecycle, exposure to diverse clients, and the chance to build core project management foundations that could lead to an Environmental Project Manager

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project or workstream delivery.
• Comfortable with plans, schedules, risk logs and budgets.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Support development of proposals, defining scope, programme, resources and budget.
• Assist with plans, forecasts, schedules, risk registers and stakeholder logs.
• Coordinate project progress, track delivery against milestones.
• Ensure health and safety requirements for site visits are in place, including approvals.
• Organise meetings, capture outcomes and follow up on actions.
• Manage project information within Common Data Environments such as SharePoint/ProjectWise.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Support administration of supplier contracts.
