Job summary

WSP is growing its Environmental Project Management team in the UK & Ireland, and we are looking for several Assistant Project Managers to join our PMO. You will support the delivery of multi-disciplinary environmental projects, working closely with Project Managers and Technical Leads to keep projects safe, on track and within budget.

You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of work across the UK, spanning both public and private sector clients, building your core project management

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project or workstream delivery with time, cost and quality control.
• Familiar with plans, schedules, risk logs and budgets.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Able to prioritise workload across multiple tasks.
• Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support development of project proposals including scope, programme, resources and budget.
• Assist with key project management documentation (plans, forecasts, schedules, risk registers, stakeholder logs).
• Coordinate project progress and track milestones.
• Ensure health and safety requirements for site visits are in place.
• Organise meetings, capture outcomes and follow up on actions.
• Manage project information within Common Data Environments such as SharePoint and ProjectWise.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Support administration of supplier contracts.
