Job summary

Brett Group, one of the UK's leading building materials groups, seeks a role focused on environmental monitoring, sampling, testing and QC across its sites. You will support sites by collecting and analysing data to identify risks, maintain permits, support product certification and drive continual improvement.

Excellent numeracy, data handling and Excel skills are essential, along with a full UK driving licence and the ability to work outdoors, travel, and operate in variable weather

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numeracy and data handling skills.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Planning and organisational skills.
• Practical problem-solving ability.Understanding of health, safety and environmental responsibilities.
• Full current UK driving licence.
• Physically capable of working outdoors and undertaking manual tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel extensively.
• GCSE Level 4 in English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Provision of accurate environmental monitoring and quality sampling/testing completed to approved standards and frequencies.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental permits, planning conditions, quality management systems and product certification requirements.
• Providing timely and accurate recording, analysis and reporting of environmental and quality data.
• Ensuring well-maintained, calibrated and fit-for-purpose monitoring and testing equipment.
• Adopting safe, environmentally responsible and quality-focused working practices.
