Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting for an experienced environmental professional to lead environmental coordination and EIA activities in our UK Environment Practice. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, mentor colleagues and drive high standards across projects in Birmingham and beyond.

The role involves bid development, client liaison and continuous professional development to deliver sustainable outcomes for major infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject.
• Chartered status and experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Post-graduate consultancy experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental expertise.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver environmental work with multi-disciplinary teams (EIA, options appraisals, environmental management).
• Line manage a team of environmental professionals.
• Champion high environmental standards within projects and influence development.
• Collate and edit information from various sources into clear reports.
• Manage client needs confidently and professionally.
• Support bid preparation and develop new business areas for the team.
• Pursue CPD aligned with professional institute requirements.
