Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham seeks an experienced environmental professional to lead coordination and delivery of environmental work within multi-disciplinary teams. You will spearhead EIA activities, manage a team of environmental specialists and ensure high standards across engineering projects.

The role requires a degree or higher in environmental sciences, Chartered status, and strong writing/presentation skills.

Qualifications

Degree or Masters in an environmental or related discipline.
Chartered experience and working on major infrastructure projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise.
Leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills; ability to review others' work.

Responsibilities

Lead the coordination and delivery of environmental work across multi-disciplinary teams (EIA, options appraisals).
Line manage a team of environmental professionals.
Champion high environmental performance within engineering projects; influence development and outcomes.
Collate and edit information from multiple sources; produce clear, well-written reports.
Meet client needs in a skilled, professional manner; lead bid preparation and business development.
Commit to CPD in line with professional institute requirements.
