Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead coordination and delivery of EIA and related environmental work within multi-disciplinary teams. You will line manage a team, champion high environmental performance, and work closely with clients across major infrastructure projects.

The role requires a degree or MSc in environmental science, Chartered status with infra project experience, and strong report writing, presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in an environmental or related discipline.
• Chartered with experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of the EIA processes and environmental techniques.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt.
• Willingness to travel to AtkinsRéalis or client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of environmental work among multi-disciplinary teams including EIA, options appraisals and environmental management.
• Line manage a team of environmental professionals.
• Champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary projects, influencing development and delivering optimal outcomes.
• Collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well written reports.
• Undertake CPD in line with professional requirements and support bid preparation and business development.
