Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead and coordinate environmental work for major infrastructure projects in Manchester. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, deliver EIAs, and mentor colleagues while developing new business for the team.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject.
• Chartered experience and working on major infrastructure projects.
• Post-graduate experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental expertise.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience in commercial coordination and project management.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work from AtkinsRéalis or client offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of environmental work by multi-disciplinary teams.
• Line-manage a team of environmental professionals.
• Support commercial and resource management of projects, bids and local teams.
• Promote high standards of environmental performance in engineering projects.
• Collate and edit information to provide clear reports.
• Perform own work to high standards and review others' work on time and budget.
• Manage clients' needs in a professional manner.
• Lead and support bid preparation and develop new business areas.
• Undertake CPD per professional institute requirements.
