Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham seeks an experienced environmental professional to lead and coordinate EIA and related environmental work within multi-disciplinary teams. You will line-manage specialists, ensure high standards, and deliver clear, well-written reports while meeting client needs on time and within budget.

The role requires a degree or post-graduate qualification in environmental science, Chartered status, and strong leadership, report-writing and communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject.
• Chartered status and experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of environmental work by multi-disciplinary teams (EIA, options appraisals, management).
• Line manage a team of environmental professionals and drive high standards.
• Collate and edit information from sources to produce clear reports.
• Manage client needs confidently and professionally.
• Support bid preparation and develop new business areas.
• Pursue Continual Professional Development (CPD).
