Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director in Environment to lead environmental work within multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating EIA studies and environmental management across major infrastructure projects.

You will line-manage environmental professionals, support commercial and resource management of bids, and ensure high environmental performance standards while developing new business opportunities. CPD is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in an environmental or related discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise.
• Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the coordination and delivery of environmental work by multi-disciplinary teams including EIA and options appraisals.
• Line manage a team of environmental professionals.
• Support team leaders with commercial and resource management of projects, bids and local teams.
• Champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary projects.
• Collate and edit information from multiple sources for clear, well-written reports.
• Manage client needs professionally and effectively.
• Lead bid preparation and develop new business areas for the team.
• Maintain CPD in line with professional requirements.
