Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Environment team in the Nottingham area. Based in or around Annesley, travel to multiple sites within the region will be required as part of the role.

You will support Severn Trent Water projects, work with multi-discipline designers, and lead on construction-phase documentation and stakeholder coordination while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure project delivery
• Understanding NEC4 contractual requirements
• Sound knowledge of QA, H&S, and CDM awareness
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the Project Delivery team working with multi-discipline designers and project engineers
• Collaborate with delivery teams to promote integrated and efficient project delivery
• Lead on producing construction-phase documentation and obtain permits to start construction
• Engage and manage internal resources and subcontractors through pre-construction to site
• Act as a key link between client, stakeholders and supply chain with clear communication and scheduling
• Mentor and coach team members; contribute to programme reviews and cost management
