Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our Environment team in Iver. You will lead civil engineering from concept through to completion, working with project managers and site management to deliver infra and non-infra water projects across the Affinity Water region.

The role requires strong design coordination, robust health and safety documentation, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Experience in water sector or Non-Infra projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering from concept through to completion using in-house resources and site teams.
• Deliver Non-Infra and Infra projects within the water sector.
• Oversee design management and liaise with clients and internal teams.
• Prepare and review health & safety documentation (RAMS, project plans).
• Procure materials and manage supplier/subcontractor relationships.
• Engage and deliver civil works and packages on site.
