Job summary

Yunex Traffic is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Engineer to join our traffic signal maintenance team in the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and support scheduled maintenance on traffic signal assets and related highways systems.

The role requires GCSEs including maths and English, reliability and a collaborative mindset. We offer training, on-site work, and opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualifications) are required.
• Experience in Traffic Signals and/or Highways is preferred but not essential.
• Reliability, initiative and teamwork are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Attend, diagnose and resolve faults on traffic signal assets and related equipment.
• Complete reactive and proactive maintenance tasks to high quality standards.
• Carry out periodic inspections, electrical testing and site surveys as required.
• Install, replace and set up traffic signal assets and equipment, on site and as part of a team.
• Assist contract management and document works in the Fault Management System (FMS).
• Work out of hours as needed and participate in on-call duties.
• Support health, safety and training requirements across the team.
