Job summary

Yunex Traffic is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in the UK to provide specialised support for traffic signal equipment, diagnose faults, and assist maintenance and installation teams. The role requires hands-on electrical engineering knowledge, a valid UK driving license, and a proactive approach to learning new systems.

You will collaborate with engineers across the Poole site to refine processes, implement best practices, and contribute to safer, smarter mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• HNC / ONC / City and Guilds or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
• Ability to perform complex fault diagnosis and installations.
• Willingness to stay updated with new equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to colleagues on traffic signal equipment.
• Perform complex fault diagnosis and installation tasks.
• Support maintenance and installation teams.
• Configure traffic signal equipment.
• Commission equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Be available for standby duty and on-call repairs.
• Complete NHSS training requirements.
• Collaborate with Poole teams to improve processes.
• Drive improvement projects to boost efficiency.
• Coach and mentor other engineers.
• Undertake relevant training to stay updated.
