Job summary

Tate in Hitchin is seeking a confident Sales Development Executive (entry level) to join our busy team. The role is office-based, Monday–Friday, with full training provided, and offers a clear path to the Business Development Manager role.

You will make outbound calls, introduce our services, identify decision-makers, and arrange appointments for the Business Development team, while maintaining records and meeting activity targets.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and confidence in making outbound calls.
• Willingness to learn; no prior sales experience required.
• Comfortable speaking with new contacts and decision-makers.
• Able to work towards activity targets and team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective clients.
• Introduce the company and its services to potential new clients.
• Identify key decision-makers and research businesses.
• Book appointments for Business Development Managers.
• Follow up via telephone, email and LinkedIn.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and conversations.
