Job summary

Convergence Group (Wireless) Networks Limited is hiring for an entry-level Network Operations Centre (NOC) role in Solihull. You will be the first point of contact for customers with technical or connectivity issues and learn to troubleshoot network, connectivity and hardware problems.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution, and developing both technical and customer service skills with support from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ employment history in a customer-facing or professional environment
• Interest in technology, networking or IT, and a passion for delivering great customer service
• Ability to obtain BPSS, SC and NPPV3 clearance
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues
• Calm, positive and solutions-focused approach with a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay composed under pressure
• Maturity and reliability to work to schedules and take responsibility
• Flexibility to work shifts from our Solihull office between 7am and 7pm, including occasional weekends

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical or connectivity issues
• Deliver exceptional customer service and keep customers informed throughout the incident
• Take ownership of incidents through to resolution or escalation
• Learn to troubleshoot network, connectivity and hardware issues
• Monitor customer networks and proactively identify issues
• Log and manage incidents accurately in ServiceNow
• Work with suppliers, telecoms providers and field engineers to resolve faults
• Escalate issues appropriately and learn from the wider engineering team
• Continuously develop your technical and customer service skills
