Job summary

GLORY is seeking an entry-level field service engineer to visit customer sites, diagnose issues, and perform basic networking and hardware tasks. You will start from home, travel to sites with a company car, and complete tasks using a Windows laptop.

The role offers full training, weekend rotation opportunities, and clear progression paths in engineering and leadership. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Some work experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Interest in engineering/technology and practical problem solving.
• Comfortable using a Windows laptop.
• Professional, customer-friendly approach and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Start your day from home, visit customer sites, and manage jobs via our field service system.
• Meet customers, diagnose issues, and keep them updated as you resolve them.
• Use a Windows laptop to review logs, run checks and record work.
• Carry out basic connectivity setup (LAN, IP, device interfaces) with step-by-step training.
• Perform preventive maintenance, replace modules/parts as needed.
• Test equipment and document actions before leaving.
• Use quieter times for learning and training modules.
• Aim for first-time fix with minimal disruption to customers.
