Job summary

SumUp is seeking self-employed Field Sales Professionals in the UK to build your own business with the backing of a leading fintech brand. You’ll operate on a 100% commission basis, with upfront commissions, recurring residuals, and performance-based incentives, driving growth across local SMEs.

You will receive comprehensive training, maintain your own diary and pipeline, and have access to ongoing coaching as you scale your regional territory into a profitable commercial portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments.
• Hunter mindset with ability to generate opportunities rather than wait for leads.
• Financial resilience to bridge initial pipeline-building phase.
• Self-discipline to operate completely autonomously.
• Strong commercial awareness to articulate value of recurring revenue assets.

Responsibilities

• Fearless prospector: prospecting a minimum of 30 local SMEs daily through in-person visits and outreach.
• Consultative selling: analyze merchant payments needs and position SumUp's full ecosystem.
• Pipeline and territory management: own your territory and manage CRM to close hardware installations.
• Meaningful conversations: hold 3 real sales conversations daily and build 3–5 merchant partnerships weekly.
• Relationship building: become the local payments expert for SME owners.
