Job summary

Sky is building a new Enterprise Assurance capability within the Group Risk Office to provide a consistent, risk-based approach to how policies, controls and governance are operating across the organisation.

You'll partner with senior leaders and subject matter experts to shape assurance from the ground up, driving better visibility of control effectiveness and organisational risk while ensuring delivery is robust and sustainable across Sky.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess design and effectiveness of policies, controls and governance frameworks.
• Expertise in translating assurance findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of technical governance frameworks and policy management.
• Demonstrated credibility in collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve control health.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance activity across Sky's technical policy and control environment, providing independent insight into policy adherence, control effectiveness and areas for improvement.
• Assess whether key policies, controls and governance arrangements are understood, embedded and operating effectively.
• Partner with policy owners, control owners and subject matter experts to strengthen business ownership of controls.
• Help shape and evolve Sky's Enterprise Assurance framework, methodologies and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve assurance effectiveness through better data, insight, reporting and automation.
• Translate assurance findings into clear, practical recommendations and reporting for leaders.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide assurance reporting, building a consolidated view of control health and risks.
• Work with Corporate Assurance Manager to deliver a coordinated enterprise assurance approach.
