Job summary

Sky is establishing a new Enterprise Assurance capability within the Group Risk Office to provide a consistent, risk-based approach to understanding policies, controls and governance across Sky.

This role partners with senior leaders to develop a broad view of organisational risks and assurance, working with the Corporate Assurance Manager to deliver enterprise-wide assurance across corporate and technical domains and shaping methodologies for sustainable improvement.

Qualifications

• Assess design and effectiveness of policies, controls and governance frameworks.
• Translate assurance findings into clear, practical and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Have a strong understanding of technical governance frameworks and policy management.
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to build enterprise-wide visibility of control health.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance activity across Sky's technical policy and control environment.
• Assess whether key policies, controls and governance arrangements are understood and operating effectively.
• Partner with policy owners and SMEs to strengthen business ownership of controls.
• Shape and evolve Sky's Enterprise Assurance framework, methodologies and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve assurance effectiveness through data, insight, reporting and automation.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations and reporting for leaders and stakeholders.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide assurance reporting with a consolidated view of control health and risks.
• Work with the Corporate Assurance Manager to deliver a coordinated enterprise assurance approach.
