Job summary

Sky is establishing a new Enterprise Assurance capability within its Group Risk Office. You will shape an enterprise-wide assurance function, partnering with senior leaders to understand and improve governance, controls and risk across Sky's markets and functions.

As Corporate Assurance Manager, you’ll deliver independent insight into policy adherence and control effectiveness, help drive improvements, and shape methodologies to ensure robust, measurable assurance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess design and effectiveness of policies, controls and governance frameworks.
• Translate assurance findings into clear, practical insights for stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and organisational accountability.
• Experience working with assurance, risk and control subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance activity across Sky's corporate policy and control environment, providing independent insight into policy adherence, control effectiveness and areas for improvement.
• Assess whether key policies, controls and governance arrangements are understood, embedded and operating effectively.
• Partner with policy owners, control owners and subject matter experts to strengthen business ownership of controls.
• Help shape and evolve Sky's Enterprise Assurance framework, methodologies and standards for consistent delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve assurance effectiveness through better use of data, insight and reporting.
• Translate assurance findings into clear, practical recommendations and reporting for leaders.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide assurance reporting to build a consolidated view of control health and risks.
