Job summary

Sky UK Limited is expanding its Group Risk Office with a new Enterprise Assurance capability. The role partners with senior leaders to understand policy adherence, control effectiveness and governance across Sky's markets.

You’ll shape the assurance framework and drive improvement, working closely with the Technical Assurance Manager to ensure a robust, consistent approach across corporate and technical domains.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess the design and effectiveness of policies, controls and governance frameworks.
• Expertise in translating assurance findings into clear, practical insight for stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks and policy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance activity across Sky's corporate policy and control environment, providing independent insight into policy adherence, control effectiveness and areas for improvement.
• Assess whether key policies, controls and governance arrangements are understood, embedded and operating effectively.
• Partner with policy owners, control owners and subject matter experts to strengthen business ownership of controls and support sustainable improvement.
• Help shape and evolve Sky's Enterprise Assurance framework, methodologies and standards, ensuring assurance activity is delivered consistently and objectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve assurance effectiveness through better use of data, insight, reporting and automation.
• Translate assurance findings into clear, practical recommendations and reporting for leaders and stakeholders.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide assurance reporting, helping build a consolidated view of control health, emerging risks and improvement priorities across Sky.
• Work closely with the Technical Assurance Manager to deliver a coordinated enterprise assurance approach across corporate and technical domains.
