Job summary

HP Enterprise in the United Kingdom seeks a Sales Engineer to join its Networking team. You will partner with Account Managers to understand customer needs and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops and PoCs while designing networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio.

The role targets professionals with 2+ years in pre-sales or equivalent customer-facing technical roles, offering a path to deepen expertise in enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, switching, security and SD-WAN.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing technical experience.
• 5+ years’ networking industry experience.
• Looking to build a career in pre-sales.
• Experience running demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept activities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies.
• Able to work independently with customers while leveraging wider specialist support where needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and business challenges
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops
• Design networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio
• Support customers through discovery, evaluation and proof-of-concept activities
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners
• Develop expertise across enterprise networking technologies including Wi- Fi, switching, security and SD- WAN
• Work alongside experienced technical specialists while developing your own pre-sales capability
