Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Delivery Practice Manager to lead the ProServe Shared Delivery Team in the UK. You will manage a team of Delivery Consultants, guiding enterprise engagements from scoping to delivery, and partnering with customers, partners, and internal AWS teams to achieve outcomes.

You will engage with executives, translate business needs into AWS offerings, drive business development, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.
• Experience in IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in program or engagement management, leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects.
• Experience in enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies & distributed architecture.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.

• Engage with enterprise customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio. Develop bold cloud strategies with senior executives and present respective proposals.
• Support delivery of projects, ensure high quality, on time and on budget delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with our partner ecosystem, establish technical relationships with key SIs, ISVs and MSPs who are offering cloud-based services and solutions across the Applications Migration and Modernization specialties. Help deliver joint proposals and joint engagements for partners to succeed in large, complex customer engagements using AWS
• Engage with customers actively leveraging Technical or IT Advisory skills to support project delivery.
