Job summary

Checkout.com in London is seeking an Enterprise Business Development Analyst to drive growth with our Global Accounts. You will own strategic account plans and work closely with Enterprise Sales Representatives to accelerate deals.

You will act as a guide on market trends, leverage Salesforce and AI analytics, and collaborate with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Legal to tailor offerings for large merchants.

Qualifications

  • Experience in payments/fintech is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to build and sustain deep relationships with multiple stakeholders up to C-suite levels in a large enterprise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data/CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for mapping, opportunity identification and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritise shifting workloads.
  • Eager to understand and navigate long sales cycles.
  • Commercially minded with understanding of issues faced by large accounts.
  • Confident user of AI and data analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated and tenacious.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the internal methodology expert and trusted advisor on key strategic accounts, including industry, market trends, and business challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth market and account analysis to generate insights that accelerate sales cycles and inform strategy.
  • Proactively leverage AI-driven systems (e.g., Salesforce, 6Sense) to optimise lead generation and pipeline accuracy.
  • Work closely with Sales to nurture and deepen relationships with merchants.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to align on merchant onboarding and product offerings.
  • Assist senior leadership in shaping tailored solutions for merchants.
  • Collaborate daily with engagement teams across the sales cycle.

Enterprise Business Development Analyst

Checkout.com is actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Enterprise Business Development Analyst to join our Enterprise development of Global Accounts from our offices in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a fundamental role in our rapid growth as we revolutionise merchant experience and continue to set ourselves apart from the rest when managing our largest and most strategic accounts in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the strategic account plans and end-to-end deal progression strategy for a portfolio of key prospects in collaboration with Enterprise Sales Representatives.

  • Serve as the internal Methodology expert and trusted advisor on the key strategic accounts, including their industry, market trends, and critical business challenges.

  • Conduct in-depth market and account analysis (organizational structure, strategic priorities, competitive landscape) to generate actionable insights that accelerate sales cycles and inform business strategy.

  • Proactively leverage AI-driven systems (e.g., Salesforce, 6Sense, proprietary tools) and advanced analytics to optimise lead generation, strategic planning, and pipeline accuracy.

  • Work closely with Sales in nurturing, developing, and deepening relationships with existing and prospective merchants.

  • Influence cross-functional teams of stakeholders (including Product, Solutions Engineering, and Legal) to ensure an aligned team effort when dealing and onboarding with key merchants.

  • Assist senior leadership in shaping tailored solutions and product offerings for each merchant.

  • Collaborate daily with our engagement team to ensure a strong understanding and alignment across the entire sales cycle.

Qualifications
  • Preferable experience in payments, fintech etc., but not essential.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain deep, multi-threaded relationships with multiple stakeholders up to the C-suite level within a large enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrated deep analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data/CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for account mapping, opportunity identification, and accurate forecasting.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial/technical value propositions to senior stakeholders.

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.

  • Eager to understand and navigate long sales cycles.

  • Commercially minded and possesses a deep understanding of issues large accounts are facing.

  • Confident and proficient user of AI and data analytics tools.

  • Highly motivated and tenacious self‑starter.

  • Fluent in English.
