Enterprise Account Executive – Payment Solutions

Location: UK Remote / Hybrid Options Available

The Role

This is a senior enterprise new business sales role focused on high-value merchants across sectors including retail, events, stadia, hospitality, and F&B. You’ll be selling cutting-edge payment gateway solutions into high-volume, high-complexity environments, playing a critical role in shaping the company’s expansion into new markets.

The successful candidate will lead large-scale deal activity (£10m+), manage consultative sales cycles with C-level stakeholders, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure long-term value delivery for new clients.

This is a high-impact opportunity within a tech-led, high-growth payments provider backed by a major name in the events and hospitality space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and close new enterprise business opportunities with deal values of £10m+
  • Sell gateway and payment solutions into complex, high-volume merchant environments
  • Expand the company’s presence beyond core sectors into new verticals and commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders through a strategic, consultative approach
  • Collaborate with product, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
  • Feed into strategic planning and market expansion initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrable success in selling payment gateway, acquiring, or ePOS solutions to enterprise clients
  • Strong commercial acumen and a hunter mentality—confident managing complex, high-value sales cycles
  • Sector experience or exposure in retail, events, stadia, hospitality, or F&B
  • Skilled in navigating long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for innovation and business growth
