Base pay range

Senior Enterprise Account Executive – RegTech | EMEA (Africa Focus)

Location: UK - Remote

Salary: 100,000 – 120,000 base + Double OTE + Accelerators (More with increased Quota)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across key African territories within EMEA. You’ll be responsible for acquiring and growing enterprise accounts within the financial services sector, managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with values between £50,000 – £100,000 and annual targets exceeding £1 million.

This is a strategic sales role for someone who thrives on ownership, operates with commercial rigour, and knows how to navigate the intricacies of financial institutions across regions such as:

  • North & Francophone Africa
  • Anglophone West & East Africa
  • Southern Africa

Senior Enterprise Account Executive – RegTech | EMEA (Africa Focus) - Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across named enterprise accounts within the financial services sector
  • Drive new business acquisition across Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions, banks, and insurance providers
  • Lead and manage multi-layered, complex enterprise sales involving compliance, IT, procurement, and senior business stakeholders
  • Deliver against an annual new business revenue target of £1 million+
  • Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure strong client engagement and tailored solutions
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, using a structured sales methodology (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN)
  • Contribute to market feedback loops, supporting ongoing GTM refinement across EMEA’s high-potential regions

Senior Enterprise Account Executive – RegTech | EMEA (Africa Focus) - Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience within SaaS or RegTech
  • Proven success in selling to Financial Institutions (banks, insurers, or fintechs) at enterprise level
  • Strong track record of closing £50k–£100k+ deals and hitting £1 million+ annual targets
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Experience navigating enterprise sales across at least two of the following regions:
  • North & Francophone Africa
  • Anglophone West & East Africa
  • Southern Africa
  • Comfortable working independently across long sales cycles in emerging markets
  • Based in the EMEA region, with the ability to travel periodically to customer sites across Africa
