Job summary

Peabody is seeking an Enhanced Housing Management Officer to support residents transitioning from supported housing toward independent living within our housing schemes in London. You will build trusting relationships with tenants, provide practical guidance, and signpost to relevant services to sustain tenancies and promote safe environments.

The role includes welfare visits, risk assessments, health and safety checks, and continuous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, supported housing, or related support environments.
• Understanding of mental ill health challenges and person-centred services.
• Knowledge of tenancy sustainment, safeguarding, and housing management practices.
• Ability to build professional relationships with partner agencies.
• Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate electronic records.
• Comfort with health and safety responsibilities in residential settings.
• Capable of working independently and within a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced housing management to help residents sustain tenancies.
• undertake welfare visits, risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and property checks.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and contractor performance within schemes.
• Maintain records and report safeguarding concerns promptly.
