Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a motivated English Teacher on a temporary fixed-term basis in the United Kingdom. Start date is immediate/next term with scale-matched pay (£140 - £233 per day).

The role offers collaboration, CPD opportunities and a supportive English Department focused on reducing burnout and improving planning efficiency. You will deliver lessons for KS3-4, use assessment data to close attainment gaps, and support student wellbeing as required.

Qualifications

• QTS mandatory
• Degree in English (BA/MA) or related field
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 aligned to National Curriculum and GCSE English.
• Use data to track progress and raise attainment.
• Maintain an inclusive, well-managed learning environment.
• Provide pastoral support as Form Tutor or equivalent.
