The role offers scale-matched pay (£140-£233 per day), weekly pay, and collaboration within a high-performing English Department, with planning resources to help manage workload.

Qualifications

• QTS is mandatory.
• BA/MA in English Literature, Language, or related field.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications.
• Use data to monitor progress and support attainment.
• Maintain an inclusive, well-managed classroom with effective behaviour management.
• Act as Form Tutor to support student wellbeing.
