As an established English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English Language and English Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering creative and structured English Language and Literature lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes.

• Implementing targeted literacy interventions to raise reading and analytical writing standards.

• Marking pupil work consistently in line with departmental assessment policies.

• Supporting Year 11 students with GCSE coursework preparation and examination technique.

Requirements or Skills:

• UK QTS or relevant recognised secondary teaching qualification.

• Specialism in secondary English with experience delivering GCSE curriculum specifications.

• Ability to foster analytical thinking, text comprehension, and positive pupil discussion.

• Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or processed through Milk Education).
