Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SEN English Teacher for an SEN school in Epping. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils aged 11–18, tailoring approaches to diverse needs and creating a safe, structured learning environment.

Collaborating with SEN support staff and therapists, you will monitor progress, adapt curriculum content, support positive behaviour and manage classrooms effectively.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• PGCE or Equivalent training
• Experience in SEN education (Secondary preferred)
• Strong classroom management
• Patient, resilient, adaptable approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Job Title: SEN English Teacher

Location: Epping

Job Type: Full-time (5 days a week)

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30pm

Start Date: After October Half Term

Role Overview:

I am looking for an experienced English Teacher who has extensive SEN and SEMH experience to join an intimate team of teachers within an SEN school in Epping.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional and complex needs. You will help them learn, build confidence and achieve their fullest potential. This is a rewarding role in which you will gain a lot of hands on experience
