Ocado Group operates a state‑of‑the‑art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. As an Engineering Technician, you will diagnose faults quickly, perform planned servicing and repairs, and contribute to proactive improvements to boost reliability and efficiency in a high‑tech environment.

You will join a 24/7 operation with 12‑hour shifts across days, nights and weekends, applying your automation and control systems knowledge in a hands‑on role that supports efficient, safe operations.

Qualificações

• Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and ideally control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, practical approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and share knowledge effectively.
• Comfortable working at height using access equipment, in line with site safety standards.

About the Role

As an Engineering Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our state‑of‑the‑art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. You’ll be the first line of response for engineering faults, working quickly and effectively to diagnose and resolve issues that could impact performance. Alongside reactive maintenance, you’ll carry out planned servicing and repairs to keep our equipment in top condition, while also getting involved in proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work with cutting‑edge technology in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment

You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.
