Ocado is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Erith fulfilment centre. You will be the first line of response for engineering faults, diagnosing issues quickly to keep performance high.

In this hands-on role, you will perform planned servicing and repairs and contribute to proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency in a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

Qualificações

• Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and control systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working at height using access equipment per site safety standards.

About the Role

As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our state-of-the-art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. You'll be the first line of response for engineering faults, working quickly and effectively to diagnose and resolve issues that could impact performance. Alongside reactive maintenance, you’ll carry out planned servicing and repairs to keep our equipment in top condition, while also getting involved in proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment

You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.
