The Sterling Choice is seeking an Engineering Shift Leader to take ownership of a 3–4 person engineering team on a busy production site. You will balance day-to-day production support with planned maintenance, continuous improvement and project work.

You will lead, coach and develop your team, manage breakdowns to minimise downtime, and drive maintenance to improve equipment reliability while delivering site-wide initiatives.

Formación

• Experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong people-management and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to manage breakdowns and plan maintenance.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 3–4 multi-skilled engineers, balancing production support with maintenance and project work.
• Manage breakdowns and production issues to minimise downtime.
• Drive preventative maintenance and improve equipment reliability.
• Lead engineering improvement projects and support site-wide initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance activities are tracked through the CMMS.
• Maintain high engineering and site safety standards.
• Collaborate with production to keep operations running smoothly.
