Job summary

Major Talent is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to oversee multi-site maintenance operations. You will lead a small team of engineers, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose.

You will report to the Engineering Shift Manager, balancing maintenance priority with production needs, driving improvements in uptime, energy efficiency and equipment reliability while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Time-served multi-skilled engineer with strong mechanical/electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance delivery including PPM and reactive work.
• Coordinate a small team of engineers and allocate tasks by priority.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform rapid repairs to restore production.
• Ensure safe, reliable plant operation with good housekeeping and GMP.
• Coordinate contractors and support installation of electrical components.
