Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Stockport is seeking an Engineering Shift Technician (Electrical) to lead on high-speed packaging lines during 12-hour day/night rotations. You will apply your apprentice-trained electrical background to perform planned and preventive maintenance on automated equipment.

You will generate detailed CMMS maintenance reports, drive continuous improvement projects, and support PLC fault-finding on Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi systems.

Qualifications

• Full electrical engineering apprenticeship completed.
• Experience with planned and preventive maintenance in high-speed automation.
• Lead engineer on shift; reports via CMMS.

12hr Days's/Night’s - 4 Nights (1 week), 3Day's/ 3Night's (1 week), 4 Days (1week) then 7 Days off

Salary: £56,200 + Pension + Benefits

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules within a high-speed automated environment. On a day to day basis, you will be the lead engineer on shift, create detailed maintenance reports using (CMMS), execute continuous improvement projects and build stock items. The role will involve the maintenance of packaging machinery, slicers, taggers, basket fillers, stacking machines, inverters, drives, sensors, and fault finding on Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs. The ideal candidate will also have some Mechanical knowledge and ideally 17th/18th Edition. Your experience will be supported with ongoing development, for you to create further opportunities, to enhance your career prospects within this huge multinational group.
