Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Liverpool is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Continental Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off (days/nights) role within a leading food manufacturer. You will maintain high-speed packaging machinery and automation lines on site.

The ideal candidate is apprentice-trained in electrical engineering with FMCG experience, CMMS reporting, and PLC fault-finding skills; 18th Edition knowledge is a plus and ongoing development is offered.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained in electrical engineering.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain packaging machinery and automation lines in a high-speed environment.
• Create detailed maintenance reports using CMMS and support CI projects.

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules within a high-speed automated environment. On a day to day basis, you will create detailed maintenance reports using (CMMS), execute continuous improvement projects and build stock items. The role will involve the maintenance of packaging machinery, slicers, taggers, basket fillers, stacking machines, inverters, drives, sensors, and fault finding on PLCs. The ideal candidate will also have some Mechanical knowledge and ideally 18th Edition. Your experience will be supported with ongoing development, for you to create further opportunities, to enhance your career prospects within this huge multinational group.
