Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is seeking an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer for a high-speed food manufacturing site in Bodelwyddan. Salary: £57,286 + Pension + Benefits. You will join a team responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance on packaging lines, flow wrappers, conveyors, motors and drives, in a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift pattern.

The role requires an apprentice-trained engineer with PLC and automation experience. Long-term career progression is available within the group.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained engineer with electrical or mechanical background.
• Experience with PLCs and automated machinery.
• Understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance (PPM) systems.
• Food/FMCG experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fault-find on packaging, flow wrappers, conveyors and labelling equipment.
• Work with motors, drives and 3-phase systems in a high-speed automated environment.
• Operate within both team and autonomous settings.

Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £57,286 + Pension + Benefits

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 12 Hour Days & Nights

The Company

Based within one of the UK's leading privately owned food manufacturing groups, they are an extremely well established manufacturing group with over 30 years of food production knowledge, and they are looking to recruit experienced maintenance engineers to add to their existing team.

The Role

You will have ideally served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging, conveyor systems, 3-phase, bagging machines, motors, drives and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience of circuits, motors and drives within an automated environment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.
