Job summary

Wolviston Management Services are supporting our client, a well-established lifting equipment specialist, in recruiting a Technical Clerk to join their busy Middlesbrough team. The role provides essential administrative and coordination support across the Service Division, from initial booking through to completion.

You will work closely with engineers, customers and the wider office team to ensure service, repair and inspection activities run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous administration or coordination experience.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional telephone manner and clear communication.
• Good written and verbal communication and IT proficiency.
• Experience in engineering/service environments is beneficial but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Book and coordinate service, repair and inspection work.
• Support planning and scheduling of engineer visits.
• Update job records and internal systems.
• Liaise with engineers, customers and suppliers for information.
• Prepare paperwork and support certification processes.
• Monitor outstanding jobs and follow-up actions.
• Keep customers informed on progress.
• Provide general administration to the Service Division.
