Job summary

Heathrow is seeking an experienced resilience professional to lead Engineering’s approach to operational resilience, contingency planning and incident response. You will lead the Engineering Resilience team, manage the Incident Response Team and collaborate across Heathrow to strengthen preparedness and recovery.

The role blends strategic leadership with practical delivery, including leading major exercises, advising on resilience requirements and briefing senior leaders on preparedness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading resilience and incident response in complex engineering environments.
• Strong planning and testing mindset with exercises and lessons learned.
• Ability tobrief senior leaders and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Resilience team and Incident Response Team.
• Develop and test contingency plans; coordinate across Heathrow to strengthen preparedness.
• Take an on-call command and control role during significant disruption as per policy.
