Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Stoke-on-Trent to drive a £2.5m-£3m emissions-reduction project from feasibility to installation, commissioning and handover. You will own the project across design, procurement, installation and handover, working with central procurement to manage RFQ/RFT processes and supplier selections.

The role requires cradle-to-grave delivery experience, OEM and contractor management, and CDM compliance knowledge, with a focus on industrial

Qualifications

• Cradle-to-grave capital-project delivery experience.
• Experience managing OEMs, suppliers and contractors.
• Ideally experience with scrubbers, emissions control, or industrial installations.
• Strong knowledge of CDM and contractor management.
• Applications welcome from manufacturing, process and heavy-engineering backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop the current feasibility work.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk and change.
• Lead the RFQ/RFT and supplier-selection process.
• Manage OEMs and contractors through design and installation.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil and process workstreams.
• Oversee commissioning, performance testing and handover.
• Act as Principal Contractor and ensure CDM compliance.
