Job summary

Education Partnership North East (EPNE) seeks Programme Leaders to oversee engineering programme delivery, manage educators, and ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards. You will deliver engaging theory and hands-on lessons in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to prepare learners for industry roles.

Leaders will collaborate with managers to shape career-focused plans, monitor performance, and develop new programmes that meet local and national needs while supporting student

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Engineering sector is essential.
  • Confident use of virtual learning environments (VLEs) and digital tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with students and colleagues.
  • Practical skills to demonstrate and assess electro/mechanical activities.
  • Expertise in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering trades.
  • Experience in the relevant trade industry is essential.
  • QTS not required; training for teaching qualifications can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with curriculum manager to develop career-focused learning plans with effective sequencing and resources.
  • Maintain accurate data across the student journey and drive continual improvement.
  • Lead development of new programmes meeting industry needs and offer cutting-edge opportunities.
  • Oversee student progression, guiding recruitment, retention and outcomes.
  • Lead teaching, assessment standards and ensure high learner experience across courses.
