Education Partnership North East invites applications for a Programme Leader in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering. You will oversee engineering programmes, manage a team of educators, and align curriculum with industry standards to equip learners with hands-on skills.

The role requires leadership in teaching and learning, development of new programmes, strong collaboration with industry, and ensuring high-quality learner outcomes across Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics).
• Experience in Engineering sector essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading teaching and learning activities or teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with curriculum manager to develop career-focused, high-quality learning plans and ensure resources are in place.
• Maintain accurate data throughout the student journey and drive continual improvement.
• Lead the development of new programmes meeting industry needs and offer up-to-date opportunities.
• Oversee student progression and provide guidance to support recruitment, retention and outcomes.
• Lead teaching and assessment standards to ensure a high-quality learner experience.
• Address student concerns in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
• Develop industry links to ensure delivery meets local and national industrial demands.
