Qualifications

  • Degree or vocational qualification or commitment to work towards.
  • Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards.
  • Assessor Awards or commitment within first year.
  • Level 2 English and maths qualification.
  • Successful experience of delivering high quality provision.
  • Evidence of supporting curriculum development.
  • Evidence of collecting and acting upon data analysis.
  • Experience of implementing a range of delivery methods to suit learning needs.
  • Appropriate academic or vocational experience.
  • Experience of internal quality assurance and assessment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of computing programmes with industry alignment.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with EHCPs or ALS needs.
  • Embrace digital learning technologies to enhance teaching, assessment and engagement.
  • Monitor student performance, attendance, and behaviour; contribute to safeguarding and inductions.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, curriculum reviews, and awarding body standards.
  • Collaborate to manage course documentation and maintain records on college platforms.
