Job summary

Solihull College & University Centre invites an ambitious Programme Manager to lead and develop our Engineering provision. You will work with the Head of School to drive learner outcomes, lead curriculum teams and strengthen employer engagement, ensuring the provision remains innovative and industry-relevant.

You will oversee teaching quality, use performance data to set priorities and shape curriculum developments that prepare learners for successful careers in modern industry.

Qualifications

• Leads and develops curriculum teams within Engineering.
• Uses data and performance intelligence to set priorities and drive improvements.
• Builds partnerships with employers and external stakeholders to enhance learner opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of teachers, assessors and technical staff.
• Drive improvements in attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
• Use data and performance intelligence to identify priorities and deliver measurable improvement.
• Support curriculum planning, innovation and quality improvement activity.
• Develop strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders to enhance learner opportunities and curriculum relevance.
• Contribute to staff development, performance management and succession planning.
• Help deliver an ambitious learner experience that prepares students for employment, apprenticeships and higher-level study.
